Single professionals에 가장 적합한 싱가포르 콘도

Household / Life Stage

Solo buyers aged 25-40 with CBD orientation; MRT-first, lifestyle-led, smaller units acceptable.

This page is for solo buyers aged 25-40 with a CBD-oriented career. You don't need a 4-bedroom unit, but you do need a credible MRT connection, good lifestyle infill (gym, brunch, bars within 10 minutes), and a layout that works for both quiet WFH days and Friday-night-hosting evenings. Studios and one-bedrooms are the sweet spot; small two-bedrooms work if you have an occasional guest or want a real study.

Affordability reality: as a single Singapore Citizen aged 35+, you can buy an HDB resale (with 35yo single-buyer rules) OR jump straight to private. Most single professionals at $8-12k monthly income land in the $700k-$1.3M condo bracket — typical for 1BR in RCR / 1BR-plus-study in OCR. Use our Affordability Calculator with single-income inputs (MAS TDSR is unforgiving without a co-borrower) and the Stamp Duty Calculator for BSD on first-property purchases (no ABSD for SC first home).

What to look for: walking distance to MRT (single-car ownership is the exception, not the rule), CBD-direction line access (East-West, Downtown, Thomson-East Coast for the Marina/CBD cluster), and a building with a working concierge for parcel deliveries. A nearby supermarket and a hawker centre cover daily basics; a small gym means you skip the ClassPass bill. Investor-grade rental yield matters less now (you're own-staying) but might matter later — see our Rental Yield Calculator if upgrading and renting out is in your 5-year plan.

This is NOT for you if: you're in a couple planning kids soon (see Young couples (no kids)) or you're targeting a property primarily as a rental investment (see Yield-focused investors).
