FAQ

How many projects were launched in February 2021 BTO?
The exercise offered 5 BTO projects across 5 towns, totalling 3,800 new flats.
What do Standard, Plus and Prime classifications mean?
Standard flats carry the regular 5-year MOP. Plus and Prime flats sit in choicer locations and come with extra subsidies, but carry a 10-year MOP, a resale subsidy clawback (roughly 6% for Plus, 9% for Prime), and rental restrictions after MOP.
How do I read the subscription rates?
A rate of 3.0x means three applicants balloted for every available flat in that category. First-timer rates are the better gauge of real demand — second-timer queues are structurally oversubscribed in nearly every exercise.
Should I pick BTO or resale?
BTO wins on price and lease length; resale wins on immediacy, location choice, and avoiding the ballot. Run both numbers with the BTO vs Resale calculator before committing.
